Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Omnia Toolbox for using Incident Report Builder ("the app"). By creating an account you accept them.

The service

The app builds reports from footage in your Ring account. It needs a Ring account, a Ring subscription that saves video, and your permission through the Ring app. The app is made by an independent developer and is not operated by Ring LLC.

We can only include what Ring makes available. Ring only shares events from after you connect the app, and footage that Ring didn't record or has already deleted can't be included. Event labels such as "Person" or "Vehicle" are Ring's automatic guesses and can be wrong.

Subscriptions

Connecting your Ring account is free. Building, downloading and sharing reports needs a monthly subscription ($0.99/month), and Report Vault ($0.99/month) keeps your reports beyond 30 days. Both are sold and billed by Ring through the Ring app, where you can also cancel. Refunds follow Ring's policies. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Storage limits: each account can store up to 2 GB of reports (5 GB with Report Vault). Each report includes up to 2 GB of video, and each video clip covers up to 2 minutes of an event; the full recordings stay in your Ring account.

Your responsibilities

• Only build reports from cameras you own or are authorized to use.
• You're responsible for how you use and share footage, including following privacy and audio-recording laws where you live. Some places require everyone's consent to share recorded conversations.
• Anyone with a share link you create can view and download that report. Share links carefully and revoke them when they're no longer needed.
• Keep your password safe. You're responsible for activity in your account.

Not legal advice

Reports organize your footage; they aren't legal advice. We can't guarantee that police, insurers or courts will accept a report or its footage as evidence.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the app running and your data safe, but the app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that misuse the app, such as by accessing cameras without authorization.
